This was a Barter Players original production of Cinderella, also, written by a former Barter Player. This production took place in Agricul, a magical land that solely revolved around agriculture, and Prince Titus is being pressed by his parents (the King and Queen of Agricul) to find a bride to be able to take control of the throne. I wanted this production's color palette to strictly reflect the earth and the tones that come from it. Again, on a $700 budget, constructing 8 gowns and 3 vests was a bit of a feat in and of itself but I desperately wanted the world to feel like it was of the same world. Carrie Smit-Lewis wanted to have the world feel real and of the earth which is why Titus and Cinderella were designed to be barefoot and there were so many floral and wood inspired motifs that appeared in the show itself.
