This show was another Catherine Bush original remount. After talks with Katy Brown, we had decided to set it in the period which was the 1820s. This, being one of my larger show budgets of $1,500 dollars allotted me a bit more wiggle room with what supplies I could buy and how much I could make. I wanted the costumes to feel very akin to a Norman Rockwell-ian Christmas, almost as if an illustration came to life before your very eyes (especially the White Reindeer that flew Santas Sleigh) With a very muted color palette, with a few pops of color, I wanted to portray the old-timey feel of the streets of New York City. With the Sugar Plum Fairy being the most magical and colorful, paired with the White crisp magic of Santa and his Reindeer.
