This show was the first one I had ever designed. I had the wonderful opportunity, as did my fellow design team and the actors, to meet Deborah Brevoort. She was flown out and we had the chance to do a design presentation to the playwright of the show. My concept for this was that the Women of Lockerbie, women of a very quaint little Scottish town in which Pan Am flight 103 exploded over in 1988, had a feeling of very heavy fabrics paired with knitted hand warmers. I wanted the Scottish women to feel very maternal and homely, very warm and nurturing while contrasting that with the very commercialized clothing worn by the 3 American Characters. Sadly I do not have my renderings from this show and have since lost the files, but here are some production photos.
